Jeep grand cherokee problem!?

i have a 1994 jeep grand cherokee laredo v8 and ive started to get little jolts as i drive this has never happend before does anyone know what it might be?

  1. Do you have quadra trac? Sorry, but could be the  viscous clutch failing.  Is it worse straight or in turn? More likely in turns due to different speeds of axles.


  2. automatic or manual transmission?

    if automatic, check the transmission fluid level.

  3. It really depends, could be a fuel pump or filter, could be injectors, and also I do know that early 90's jeeps had problems with transmissions overheating, so google your jeep and see if there were any recalls on certain parts, if its not normal wear and tear damage, a dealer could fix it for free.  But that really the best advice i  could give you with the information given
