his game over the last couple of months.

at one stage and is disappointed that he could not achieve the feat. The all-rounder helped his side win the fixture by seven wickets and take an unassailable lead (3-0) in the series.
“I have been working hard for the last couple of months,” said Mendis. “I tried my best to get the hat-trick but I am happy with the three.”
