Dear sir, I wish you first for having took the policy at LIC., the India's icon for Insurance. Iam a LIC agent & I think that you took the JeevanShree policy for the period of 10 yrs with the premium paying period of 6yrs. Your have now completed your premium paying period, your maturity amount will be back to you only on completion of 10thyr.Till that you have a basic cover for which you apted. THEN CONTACT YOUR NEAREST LIC OFFICE OR YOUR AGENT WHO SOLD YOU THE POLICY WITH A COPY OF YOUR POLICY THAT WILL HELP THEM TO TRACK YOU RECORDS.

AS YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE TENURE OF THE POLICY, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE SUM ASSURED (THE MONEY YOU HAVE PAID IN TOTAL TILL THE LAST POLICY) OR YOU CAN ALSO CONTINUE FURTHER AS YOU WISH.

BY CLAIMING THE POLICY YOU WILL  NOT GIVE MUCH OF RETURN (EXTRA MONEY THEN YOU PUT IN) .

THEREFORE I SUGGEST YOU TO EXTEND THE FURTHER SHORT TENURE LIKE 2 TO 10 YEARS DEPENDS ON YOUR AGE. UNLESS YOU HAVE A REQUIREMENT FOR FUNDS.
