Jeff Gordon Comeback?

He had no where of a car of finishing fourth let alone running inside the top 15. The pit strategy move was a smart move by LeTarte and it paid off as they got a top five. However, the performance of the team needs to improve. They had good cars in the first four races but did not have the finishes to show for their good runs. Now they have bad to okay cars and are being rewarded with good finishes. The 24 has been lacking speed all year but eventually they'll get it figured out where the can compete for wins on  a week to week basis like last year. Getting better but must run well from start to finish in order for me to believe Gordon and his team are back.

No comeback yet. Jeff says himself they've just played their cards right with an ok car these last two races.

Oh I am sure Jeff Gordon will be back there is not doubt this is just a little glitch in his plans.

He didn't have a 4th place car yesterday even though he finished 4th. Remember, the 88 was on his bumper getting ready to put him a lap down when the tire blew out.

Gordon and Johnson are getting better, and Junior is there every week.

I think Jeff is starting to come out of his slump and hopefully they'll get it together and stay that way he's had a real bad run lately! And that's  not like him.

He was as surprised as anyone with his 4th yesterday.  However, I think his team is starting to get it together and work out some of the kinks.  I thihnk he will do better as time goes on.
