Jeffrey Loria thinking about future of Ozzie Guillen in Miami Marlins, claim sources - MLB Update

Miami Marlins’ manager Ozzie Guillen’s days in the club seem to be numbered as the owner Jeffrey Loria begins deliberations regarding his future in the club.
Ever since the season for the club ended, there have been speculations that Guillen may be fired with immediate effect.
Unable to lead the Marlins to a respectable position in the season, fans and the analysts of the game are lashing out at him, terming Guillen the biggest reason of their failure.
Whether Guillen will be ousted or not remains to be seen. However, if the intensity of the criticism is anything to go by, more probably he will be sacked.
There are number of reasons why his name tops the list of officials that are being considered highly responsible for the poor performance.
For example, far from concentrating on the matches, he has been involved in off the field controversies. Remarks about Fidel Castro and activities on Twitter made him known among the fans more due to his careless attitude than his standing as manager.
With the season for the Marlins concluding, Guillen has left for Spain for one-month vacation.
Loria will be looking for an appropriate replacement of Guillen. Finding a manager who can lead them to glories next year and help them forget their horrible 2012 regular season will not be easy.
Guillen is under contract with the club until 2015. It has only been one year since his appointment as manager.
Removing him will reinforce the fact that the Marlins are quick to making drastic changes whenever they go through a lackluster season. This very fact will be in the mind of Loria as he is on his way to announcing a decision about Guillen.
Loria inducted Guillen last year with so many hopes. He considered him the right man to take the team to heights of success.
His hopes however have not taken a long time to come down drastically. Disappointed by his performance as manager, he is reviewing various options to make sure the Marlins improve next year.
It will be interesting to see what Loria decides about Guillen and whether he puts confidence in him for the next year.
