  1. You a righteous One..

When " Line " Quotes from scripture it becomes Moment of Depression because the Living Bible says so.

Lets see the other " Moments of Depression" according to your ilk.

In order to support your thinking of Jesus being God we have the following " MOD"

    Jesus Moment of Depression:

" “Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father.” (Mark 13:32)

    * Speaking as a Human*

    Another Moment of Depression:

John 20:17,  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœJesus said to her [Mary Magdalene], ‘Do not hold me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

    * John Quoted wrong of we interpret incorrect*

These Moments of Depression can become a Problem as you can see.

To Cherry-pick through the Bible what does not seem " normal" to the average layman and somehow add a twist to weasel out of what is being said is bordering on Hypocrisy.

Has it dawned to you that perhaps you have Moments of  scriptural depression when you start  finding fault with the Bible -which was written under inspiration!

  2. I'm not a JW. But I'll try my best shot. They've seen it. And they wrote it. That must be real. I've seen rainbows. And I write it here. They're real. I haven't seen air, it must be real -- I could breath! Reality isn't in the beholder's eyes; it's in the perception. Experience is the best testimony -- whether others believe it or not.

  3. Vision. The actual Moses and Elijah are still sleeping in the grave. As Eccl. 9:5 says: "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all." To say that Moses and Elijah were heavenly beings at the time of the transfiguration is to deny what Jesus said at John 3:13: "No man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man."

"Line: I wouldn't be hanging all my hopes on what one Guy in a moment of depression said!"

What does that mean? It became evident a long time ago that you don't know what the Bible says. You are an embarrassment to yourself.

  4. It was very real. There were more than 1 in attendance and the angels were sent to calm people.

  5. I will let Jesus tell you.

Matthew 17:8 When they raised their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus himself only. 9 And as they were descending from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying: “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of man is raised up from the dead.”

    Jesus' words "the vision"

Note on your comment to Line:

Solomon was given wisdom from God, and the Ecclesiastes was a study of the meaning of life. It was not a moment of depression, but a godly view of human life.

  6. It was a vision.
