  1. Well, read the New Testament beginning with "Acts of the Apostles".  They were preaching the good news about God's Kingdom in the hands of his son Christ Jesus.  Starting new congregations and encouraging existing ones.  They were also involved, some of them, in settling disputes over issues like circumcision.  OH and, under divine inspiration,  penning letters to individuals and congregations that would later become part of the Bible cannon.

  2. Being persecuted...

    Eh?

  3. Following  THE WAY , THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT.

    FOLLOWING THE TEACHINGS OF YESHUA,

AND SHARING THEM WITH OTHERS DESPITE THE FALLOUT OF THOSE WHO OPPOSED.

    Shalom

  4. The jewish Christians were trying to survive persecution in and about Jerusalem while Paul was  renting a house and sewing items so he could sponsor his trips to minister to the gentiles and then he would go off preaching and teaching the Gentiles throughout all the cities mentioned in the bible. It was years before Paul got in touch with the apostles in Jerusalem and then it was not very successful at first because the Jewish believers and the gentile believers were not exactly seeing eye to eye over the issue of circumcision.I dare say if there were a governing body in those days that Paul would have been disfellowshiped for rebellion and hearsay but thank God that wasn't the case where authority couldn't be challenged. In our day and time there would be a split and the gentiles would go one way and the Jewish believers another.
