  1. Myself?

  2. They are to shun exJWs so that is the solution for them

  3. Not All Jw 's are heartless, although I would say that it would depend on the company of who they already have in the car with them. If they are by themselves (no one could take what they did and say they did something wrong , (make it into something it is not) so that just show s that even in their own circles they have problems with jumping to false conclusions about such matters.

  4. The Atheist and Born Again Christian.

    JW's hate Apostates! (Ex JW's)

They Block us from answering their questions, you really think they'll give us a ride! LOL.

  5. I agree with Anna  I dont  see them stopping  at all... unless they knew who the person was and  if it was a Df'd witness they would keep on going.

Pretty Br;  on R&S  Df'd witnesses and apostates are one in the same 99% of the time according to the  Jdubs  on here

  6. i am a jw and i would pick up one so the other two can keep eachothers company then go back and  pick up the other two...or call someone for back up. i would try to help em all the same.

the fact that they are stranded in a road in the rain has nothing to do with their religious convictions! even an ex jw would be helped. The bible says to show love to our neighbor.

These kinds of questions remind me of when Jesus was similarly questioned by the farisees to see where he would drop the ball and say something that goes against the scriptures.

by the way an ex jw isnt necessarily an apostate!

  7. [edit] Construction and humanitarian efforts

Jehovah's Witnesses are known in many lands for their building work. International and regional building teams frequently undertake constructions of Kingdom Halls over the course of one or two weekends. Larger construction projects, including the building of regional Assembly Halls and Bethel offices, factories, residences, warehouses, and farm facilities, are also carried out almost entirely by volunteer members.

Jehovah's Witnesses are also involved in relief work in disaster stricken areas. One notable example is the relief efforts to both Hutu and Tutsi Witnesses during the genocide in Rwanda as well as to Congo refugees. According to the Jehovah's Witnesses, this humanitarian aid was not given exclusively to Jehovah's Witnesses; others also benefited. For instance, the Witnesses say they distributed medicine and clothing to several primary schools and an orphanage near Goma.[222] To assure all major disasters are covered worldwide, the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses use "Regional Building Committees" to oversee these efforts. This was implemented as soon as 'Katrina' struck in Louisiana in 2005. [223]

  8. I'm assuming the jw would know each of these people...

The atheist would be a witnessing opportunity, so he would be picked up, the ex-jw would be ignored, and the Born Again...they would be undedcided.  It would be a witnessing opportunity for the jw, but he would hear the Christians point of view, or the Christian would just rather walk and praise God for the rain as he had endured a long hot day.

For He draws up drops of water,

Which distill as rain from the mist,

      Which the clouds drop down

And pour abundantly on man.  Job. 36:27-28

Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”  Acts 14:17

  9. Somehow, I don't see JWs offering to help stranded people... unless they are "brothers and sisters/ the friends from the kingdom hall" ...

Therefore, I doubt they would offer help to any of them. Especially if they saw and knew the exJW. The other two would then appear "wordly" by association with the one that "turned their back on Jehovah".  So I guess stopping would "bring reproach on Jehovah's organization."

Never mind that the Bible says to Love your enemies, and to hate is to have murder in your heart.

    Good Question!

  10. Most likely myself.

  11. Well one has to be left behind right?  Not really, I would let all 3 in and I will stay behind.

Pretty br:  that is why JW's need to sit on curve balls to smack homeruns!
