  1. Yes it is a coincidence because there is nothing there.

  2. well now...you seem to do nothing but dwell on the negative...Do you need to fabricate something to make Jehovah's Witnesses seem to be of the occult?

I have been associated with this faith since 1970 and there is no spiritism or occult of any sort being practiced.

There are no purer people on the face of the earth or any group trying harder to please and serve God.

Please find something else to do with your time. Hurting millions of people is not bright and since it is in writing it can be look at as libel.

  3. These pictures are touched up to enhance certain areas of the pictures.  A very poor job too.  But, I expect nothing more in these last days.  Satan's every effort will be to discredit Jehovah's people.

  4. how can someone do all this??? I think it is gravely madness!

    you ask what I think!

I agree it is Way too farrr offf.

those artist create lovely pictures.  I doubt they have ideas of those weirdo stuff.

    ; )

  5. *looks*

Hiya there. I assumed rightly that this was the ''subliminal art" issue.

The first thing that comes to Vot's mind is how hurt the artists would feel if they knew such was being said about their artwork. Imagine how much effort and love they exerted in trying to make pretty pictures for the brotherhood to enjoy (imagine if you were asked to draw the cover picture for the Watchtower!!! What an honour! What a priviledge!)

That "subliminal art" thing is subjective. If you look at the clouds with a friend, you can see a sheep, they will see a crocodile. But it's the SAME CLOUD. It's simply a matter of perception and pre-conceived images.

What a waste of time- instead of reading the articles, they're holding a magnifying glass to the pictures!!!

Are you the "Me", a young sister who sent me a nice email in February when I was on holiday? I could not reply then, but I hope it's you. Anyway, either way, the answer applies :-D

This may seem disturbing- indeed, what is the Society trying to do with our minds????- but really, when such accusations are made against the brothers, first stop and think.

Why? Who? What exactly? What next?

WHY the accusation? To make the Governing Body seem to be a bunch of old guys intent on misleading us? But the GB members believe the SAME as we do. Intent on misleading themselves? Silly, huh?

WHO is making the accusation? A disgruntled ex-JW who didn't get what they wanted? Someone seeking a following or trying to look smart? Do they care about YOU the way the members of the GB do? Do you know how much they pray for you and I and the entire brotherhood? How seriously they take the assignment of feeding us properly? How it hurts them when a sheep decides to leave? Maybe thinking they led to it inadvertently, being imperfect? Does this "subliminal" guy love YOU?

WHAT EXACTLY is the issue here? "Hidden pictures" are to be found in ANY picture as long as you have the time to look. That's a trivial issue. The real issue here is about trust. Do you trust the brothers to be doing their best to keep our worship pure? Or will you trust this "art expert" who insinuates that the brothers are playing naughty with their artwork?

WHAT NEXT? Well, ok, so now that we have "established" that the brothers are playing with our heads, where do we turn for spiritual food? To Christendom with its full-blown paganism and false doctrines? Does the "art expert" even care what happens to you spiritiually, just so long as you stop receiving spiritual food from the brothers?

    Think Me, think.

  6. Coincidence ~ your word, not mine.

I looked, I looked at every single one,

even tilted my head, with one or two.

In most of them I saw nothing.

Oh, in the folds of robes, in his hand, in the background,

    if you look real hard!, fold the page, put two of them back-to-back;

    Ah, Phooey!!!!

    Nothing satanic at all.

I'd say an anti-Jehovah's Witness with much to much

time on his / her satanically controlled mind.

    I even read the letter.

I pray you don't  'buy'  into this nonsense?

If ya do?, I got a grilled cheese sandwich,

    you might want to see?

  7. From the articles, I've read, it seems that the experts on art say that many of these were clearly intentional.  But I'm not expert, nor can I confirm any of these claims.

But from looking at the images, that ram's head in the livingroom setting is undeniable.  Also the hand with a face on it in the Revelation book is really disturbing.  Some of the images look like a far stretch, but other ones... I can't see how it WASN'T an accident!

  8. In answer to the question: Yes

"The observer-expectancy effect (also called the experimenter-expectancy effect, observer effect, or experimenter effect) is a form of reactivity, in which a researcher's cognitive bias causes them to unconsciously influence the participants of an experiment. It is a significant threat to a study's internal validity, and is therefore typically controlled using a double-blind experimental design." (Wiki)

""Perception is influenced by expectation and expectation is affected by what others prime you for." In 1984, S. B. Thorne and P. Himelstein found that "when vague and unfamiliar stimuli are presented, [test subjects] are highly likely to accept suggestions, particularly when the suggestions are presented by someone with prestige and authority."" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backmasking... under subheading: Skepticism)

I would personally have to say that these pictures are not valid in the least, because the viewer is specifically told what to look for in each picture, and because the pictures are manipulated (rotated, cropped, grayed out except for certain areas, folded, held side by side with other images...)

The only psychological deception here is coming from the one making the accusations on your links, and not the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

  9. I looked at it for like 3 seconds and took it off of my computer. I'm not going to even give the images the time of day because I could tell just by the way that they were arranged that this was the work of an apostate.

If you are sincere about learning about us, you should only go to:

    http://www.watchtower.org/

You'll find the truth about us there. Some sites that claim to be Witness-friendly are in fact snares for those who want to take us away from the God that we love. Please don't "buy into" this information.

  10. Wow. Wow, wow and another wow. First of all, how you look at things are subjective to everyone. There were some pretty ridiculous "findings" in those pictures and yes, I did look at all of the pictures in all seriousness but found no traces of "satanic findings". Another thing, some of those pictures are from waaaaay back when JW's were in a bit darker times than we are now. Times have changed.

  11. Yes, it is just a coincidence....because so far we did not influence by any Satanic things in the organization, isn't it?

  12. Subliminal?

Many of these are far from subliminal.

I have seen these going all the way bavck to the old calendars the WT published.

Right out in front of a person and part of the picture.

And JWs are often worried about bringing things into their homes that would attract demons and these are shipped fron their own HQ.

    interesting!!

A couple of my links are broken.

Try these and see if they work:

  13. You are waaaaay off!

  14. Seems like a picture created by an apostate or by an anti-JWs with too much time on his hands.

  15. I assume you also saw the image of Christ in the grilled cheese sandwich?
