Where I live their seems to be a lot of Jehovah Witnesses because Often times I come home and find new packets of their beliefs tucked into the door frame. They have came by when I was home also and I asked them to please not leave their literature on my door! I feel like they are killing trees to make these packets and I don't want them so I just recycle them but the packets don't stop coming. What can I do to get them to STOP?? I am becoming very annoyed.

  1. tell them you worship the devil,,watch how fast they leave ...ive done this and yes it works ....they are annoying at best

  2. When people ask to be put on our "Don't Call" list, we don't call on them.  Pure and simple.

We respect the fact that God gives eveyone the free will to choose what to believe.

In calling on them, we just make another choice available.  If they don't want it, we go on our way.

  3. Jehovah Witnesses not believe in Jesus Christ as God

tell them Jehovah means Exist and in John 1:1-5 and Re 1:8 said that Jesus exist too .

  4. Put up a no solicitation sign and trespassers will be prosecuted. if they continue to harass you.

  5. is that what really bothering you killing the tree

  6. It is not the trees that would bother me just their insane beliefs

  7. tell them you're g*y, it always work.

  8. Ask them this simple question:

"Was the name JEHOVAH ever used by Jesus and his apostles?"

Ask them to answer in either "Yes" or "No". If they answer in the affirmative, they are liars. It began to be used only by the English-speaking people. If they answer in the negative, then Jehovah doesn't exist. To the Jews, a name represents someone or something.

They are witnesses of a non-existent god.

  9. Report them for littering.  I bet they'll think twice once they've been fined.

  10. Interesting reason why you don't want Witnesses at the door.

I myself don't leave literature at a unanswered door. Sometimes, a tract. That's it.

Anyway, also, my info may be outdated, but they have yet to kill a tree to make paper.

Paper is a by-product of the industry. In other words, it's made from what is left over.

  11. If asking in person didn't work, try calling the local Kingdom Hall and explain your position to them.

Or, you can get a no trespassing sign.  No soliciting signs are not effective, because they are not selling you anything.

Or, you could thank them (they are only trying to offer what they feel will be of value to you) but add that you'd prefer if they had anything to share that they leave a sticky note or  recycled paper with an link to their official website so no trees are lost.  If you recycle the magazines/literature, it is sort of cancelling out any tree loss to a degree, isn't it?  Plus think, those magazines aren't taking up any more tree population that the myriad of junk mail we each get in the mail on a daily basis

  12. Next time they knock and you are home you can tell them you want to be a 'Do Not Call' which means they won't come back.  If you don't want to wait for them to visit you can actually call your local Kingdom Hall(place of worship for Jehovah's witnesses) and tell them the same thing-to stop leaving literature and put you on the do not call list.

  13. Why wont you just try opening one up. Not all the articles in there are religious, but actually have articles about current events. Like their recent one on global warming. And the Watching The World part in the back of the Awake. Its really interesting. Give it a try. You might be suprised.
