Everton’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nikica-Jelavic-c27906 was named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for April by the Football Association, in view of his remarkable performance in the calendar month.
The in-form striker bagged 6 goals in three Premier League matches in April, including a brace against Manchester United at Old Trafford, which helped his side secure a thrilling 4-4 draw against the Red Devils.

The Croatian International made his debut for the Toffees against Wigan at the DW Stadium in February, after he was signed by Everton on a four and a half year deal from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes and
played a pivotal role in his side rise to the seventh spot in the league table.
The 26-year old played his first game of the month against Norwich City at the Carrow Road, in which he netted the ball twice to help his side record a 2-2 draw against the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Canaries-c38723. He then smashed another double against the Red Devils in his next game,
which included an astonishing first half header from close to the left by-line into the far post. In between the two games, he also appeared in the Toffees semi-final against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 on the 14th of April and scored his side’s lone goal in the
match. His final league appearance in the month came against Fulham, in which he added another two scalps to his tally, to help his side score four goals in their successive three league games.
He also reached the 10 goal mark for Everton against Fulham in just 910 minutes, the quickest in the last 100 years of club history.
The striker expressed his delight after receiving the award and said: “I am really pleased to have won this award. support.”

Meanwhile, the Latics boss Martinez was handed the manager of the month award, after he guided his side to wins against Manchester United (1-0), http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 (1-2) and Newcastle United (4-0) in April.
