Jelly fish stings!?!?

what is a remidy or watever its called for jellyfish sting????

we were at the beach and aa bunch of jelly fish stung us.... wats some ways to get rid of the sting????

been there done that!!

Go get a big bottle of vinegar. soak the area in vinegar. wrap the sting area in a towel soaked in vinegar. just keep pouring it on. it will stink but it is the only thing that worked for me.

first of all if you have these generic symptoms:

1. an instense (stinging) pain

2. itching

3. raised skin

4. rash

5. vomiting and nause

6. diarrhea

7. numbness

and if you have a severe reaction you could get difficulty breathing, pain in the chest regions or very intense pain then seek medical attention.

however self help is soak the area aroun the sting in vinegar for around 15-32 mins (you could use sea water or jellyfish pain relief gels) this is to stop the the nematocysts from releasing their toxin. if you have a tentacle attached to your skin then use gloves and a stick to remove it. you should also shave the area to remove the 'sting'.

I am not prescribing this but suggesting that you take ibuprofen.

urine doesn't help...I've tried it. vinegar does, for me at least.

this sounds crazy but i put wet sand on me the last time i got stung idk why it helps but it does.

and there is this really gross myth that pee helps hha but i never tried that cause thats nasty.
