The chairman of Swansea City, Huw Jenkins has lambasted Manchester City for lingering the subject of Scott Sinclair’s transfer to the Etihad Stadium this summer.

The English International has been heavily linked to making a move to Eastlands, after the Citizens boss, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, made public his intentions of claiming the winger’s signature.
However, both the clubs are yet to reach to an agreement over the proposed offer. According to some reports, a deadlock prevails between the two sides over the subject of the transfer fee.
With the transfer window set to close on Friday, the Swansea supremo fulminated against the dragging policy of the blue Manchester club. He accused City of not handling the transfer proceedings in a professional manner, and questioned their seriousness in
signing the forward.
He told the reporters in an interview, “It has been dragging on a while and I’d have thought if they really wanted to sign Scott they would have dealt with it a bit better than they have, but that’s their business.”
The chairman was also chagrined by the fact that the Citizens dilly-dallying approach had affected their transfer activities, and kept them guessing about Sinclair’s future at the Liberty Stadium.
The Welsh outfit are planning on claiming the services of some new players before the transfer deadline date, but their plans are believed to be dependent on the money they will get from selling Sinclair.
The club have already signed Michu, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kyle-Bartley-c21555, but saw Gylfi Sigurdsson and Joe Allen decamp from the Liberty Stadium this summer.
Jenkins was confident that the newcomers will be able to fill the void of Allen and Sigurdsson, and revealed that the arrival of more new players was just around the corner.
“Hopefully, over the next few days, we’ll get a couple more signings in and we can put the transfer window behind us at the end of the month,” he added.
“Our proposed signing of a couple of players is not dependent on Scott’s transfer out. I think it’s more about numbers and making sure we have the right number in the squad.”
