Jenn Air ref/freezer not freezing/cooling

Question

Food in freezer thawed out. I could not get unit to run. I turned it off and then unplugged it, plugged it back in and started it, it it now running, but freezer is not cold enough to freeze water and frdige is cool, but not cold. Unit is five years old
