Jenn air side by side refrigerator jcd2289ae. First off this thing has been a lemon from day one.

First off this thing has been a lemon from day one. I have had the ice and water dispenser fixed so many times I cant count. Now it wont dispense ice again. The back part turns, but the cork s***w doesnt. REAL PROBLEM The refrigerator runs but it does not freeze or even cool. Does it use freon and can I put it in myself? Thanks
