Jennair flashing f7

My Jennair SVE47600C stove is flashing f7 and the stove won't turn on. I heard that it could either be the touch pad membrane or the clock assembly. How do I know which one for sure? Tryagnostics costs more than diagnostics - double in this case. He tried the suggest of using a pencil eraser to try and free the stuck switch?
