Jennair gas cooktop

Question

My ignitors keep firing after the gas is turned off... I steamed a dungenes crab last night and some water boiled over... I figured that some water went where it shouldn't go and in the morning all would be fine. Nope... The product manual (on-line) does not speak to this problem.

Any help please?
