My last choice for names for my twin baby names, Marenne and Tyaita, didn't blow over so well, so i decided to drop them. So I thought it over again, and i fell in love with these: Jennaiya (jah-nay-ah) and Leragette (lair-ah-get) I don't have a boyfriend or a husband to help me choose a name, and i don't want to embarrass my twin girls when they are born with bad names, but i just LOVE these names. What do you think?

  1. i love love love jennaiya but im not sure about leragette.

you should definetely stick with jennaiya though.

    (=

  2. Jennaiya isn't NEARLY as bad as Leragette. I'm so sorry.. but Leragette is just bad all the way around..

  3. Please don't do this! Sorry! I do agree with the ghetto! Sorry again! Have you though of anything else? What is your inspiration for naming them?

  4. Good lord. Do you think you're a Hollywood celebrity, and can name your kid anything? Why not name your kid after a fruit, or piece of furniture instead? That's more Hollywoodish. I guess you're the type of mother that doesn't mind if your kids are made fun of, because someone couldn't give them proper names. Please have a heart.

  5. Ok, those are worse than the first 2. Why not just Marin and Jenna?

  6. lol how about Rosalie and Louisa?

  7. I like Jennaiya im uncertain about the Leragette

but if you like it keep it dont let anyone one here change your mind..its your baby!

  8. In my opinion, they are bad names. Jennaiya isn't too bad, but Leragette? Awful. Sorry =/ just not my cup of tea.

  9. Woman, please! Don't name your girls those names. They will go around their whole lives with people mis-pronouncing their names, and they will be constantly having to correct them. Give them some kind of names that English-speaking people can pronounce without a lesson!

  10. I think they sound a little ghetto, in my opinion, but that's just me. Do whatever you want to, they're your kids, and it's not like you're naming them something like toyota poopsmear or something.

  11. I'm sorry, but I don't like these names. The first girl is right, they are ghetto-sounding and pretty much unpronounceable and unspellable. Maybe try to stick with something a little less... made up.

    Sorry, that's my opinion.

  12. Is there a reason you don't want your daughters to have actual NAMES?

You have a nice, normal name. If you are so dead set on using something "unique", change YOUR name and give your babies something that won't have people laughing for the next 80 years.

  13. I hate to tell you this, but even though unique names are important, those names are way too unique. I think that your daughters will hate their names as soon as they reach first grade. Take it from somebody who knows. Do your daughters a favor and DON`T NAME THEM THAT!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

  14. Jennaiya is Pretty!!!!!!

    Don't like Leragette.

    Jennaiya MiChelle

    Jenniya NiChelle

    Jennaiya LaShay

    Tanaiya LeShay

  15. I like

    Jennaiya

    but not keen on Leragette

    I prefer

    Tyaita

    Jennaiya

    and

    Tyaita

    sound great for twins

    xx

  16. You need to rethink something. I have to be honest with you, I'm intelligent and an avid reader, I speak several languages fluently (read: I'm very good with language) and I had a very hard time figuring out how to pronounce either of the two sets of names you listed. Jennaiya was the only one I managed to sound out with any possibility of being correct.

Try not to give your girls names that everyone will constantly mispronounce. Nothing is more irritating than having to correct every new teacher, friend, and boss you meet.

And could you imagine trying to conduct business over the phone with names like these? They would get so tired of spelling and respelling their names.

There are a lot of names out there that aren't over-used and classically beautiful. You don't have to turn to made up names or ridiculously complicated names to give your daughters unique and lovely names.

I didn't like either. Sorry. Good luck to you! Hope I was helpful!

  17. Sorry:(  Neither.  Why not just "Jennifer" instead of "Jennaiya", and Leragette sounds like "Vinegarette", a thing you put in some salads:(  How about Jennifer and Leena?

  18. Not crazy about them. The pronunciation of Jennaiya is not that bad, but the spelling is all over the place. For jay-nay-ah I would simply add an A to the end of the name Janae (jah-nay) Janaea. Your spelling has me saying jen-nay-yuh. I am really not sure what to make of Leragette.

  19. Definately Ghetto - how about Jennifer or Jenna and Lauren or Leah
