Jenny Craig not paying employees?

I work for Jenny Craig, I started working on March 27th, to this day I have yet to receive a check! I've spoken to the manager who told me there was something wrong with my papers (a problem i've NEVER had before at any other job) and I was assured that I'd be paid in mid april (the next payment cycle). However my check never came again.

I've been working all my shifts even over time and i've not seen a cent yet. Has anyone else had this problem before with Jenny Craig or any other company? How can I get them to finally pay me for nearly 2 months of checks i haven't received?

I live in chicago, is there a number i can call that deals with companies not paying their employees? I'm honestly sick of it and i've written formal letters to the CEO and everything and still i have yet to see a dime.

I'm not sure how to get them to pay you, but I can tell you this. If you can, keep records of all the shifts you work. If you need to sue them, you will have to prove all the time you worked that they didn't pay you for. Time sheets, time cards, whatever, make sure you cover your a**. I hope it works out for you.

Call the state labor commission and if the city has a department of labor call them also.  Do not let this go on as it illegal.
