Jens Lehmann close to Arsenal return
Former Arsenal goal-keeper Jens Lehmann revealed he was confident Arsenal could still win the English Premier League as he sets to return to the club. The 41-year-old left the Gunners in 2008 but with Arsenal facing a defensive, and specifically a goal-keeper

in reinforcements in the form of Lehmann.
The former German International is currently in talks with his former club, and if things go according to plan, then Lehmann could be on the bench this weekend. Arsenal travel to West Brom over the weekend in a must win Premier League fixture if they wish
to continue in the title race.
Even though he has not yet confirmed his return to Arsenal, Lehmann was certain Arsenal could claim the Premier League crown. Arsene Wenger’s side are currently three points behind league leaders Manchester United, with a game in hand, which makes this game
especially important for them.
Having been eliminated from the Carling Cup, FA Cup and the Champions League, the Premier League is Arsenal’s only shot at silverware this season. If Wenger fails to win it, the Gunners will have gone six years without having won anything.
Lehmann revealed he was somewhat surprised to have been approached with the job. He said while speaking to reporters, “http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38605 and was present when Szczesny

Johan Djourou could return at the end of the season
According to a statement by the Swiss Football Association, the premature headlines declaring the end of Johan Djourou might not be true. The central defender dislocated his shoulder during the 2-0 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup and was rumored
to be out for the rest of the season.
However, after various tests the 24-year-old could very well be returning at the end of the month. This news will be big boost for Arsene Wenger who is currently facing one of the worst defensive crisis’ during his time in charge of the Gunners.
An official statement said, “The shoulder injury to Johan Djourou is less serious than feared on Saturday and announced by the coach of his club. The Arsenal defender and member of the Switzerland national team was submitted to thorough medical examinations
on Monday.”
