Jenson Button keen to defend his F-1 title
The 30-year-old British veteran racer from the McLaren racing team Jenson Button has announced that the final two races are going to be very challenging and crucial and he will not tolerate himself if he did not strive to secure the Formula 1 title of the
season.
Jenson Button is currently forty two points adrift of the current points chart leader Spaniard Fernando Alonso. Now the situation is very critical for Button as only fifty points can be grabbed in the championship and it looks merely impossible for Button
to win the championship title at this stage. Despite of the fact that his chances are very bleak, he is very confident of capturing as many points as he could to defend his Formula 1 championship title.
The upcoming Brazilian Grand Prix race is going to be not less than a test for him. It is also to be notified that Jenson Button won the Formula 1 championship title in Brazil last year and it seems the Brazilian race track is very lucky for him.
In a very recent interview Button showed his sheer confidence and believe in himself by saying that he knows his capacity and he will try to give his full in the last two races of the Formula 1 season. He added that he will not absolve himself if he does
not try to defend his championship title. The 30-year-old Englishman told the media that there are still plenty of points to be grabbed and he has still got some chances if he wins both of the remaining races of the season.
Now five drivers are considered as the championship title’s contenders and Button is one of them. The final race of the season will be held in Abu Dhabi on the fourteenth of November. According to the reports Button should at least finish second in the Brazilian
Grand Prix to keep his hopes alive for the trophy.
Currently the two-time world champion 29-year-old superstar racer from Spain, Fernando Alonso is being considered as the most favourite to win the race in Brazil. It is also to be memorized that Alonso had won the previous crucial race in the Korean Grand
Prix at the newly built Yeongam racing circuit. The performance of Alonso has been great so far and that is why he is topping the standings table by one hundred and thirty one points.
Jenson Button was asked about his plans of going for the title of the year despite of residing forty two points behind the leader over the championship standings table. In the reply to the question the Briton said that he is not really thinking about grabbing
the title of the year but wants to improve his position in the standings list.
The 30-year-old said that it is very possible for him to win the race in Brazil and hope for the best in the final race in Abu Dhabi.
According to the weather forecast it could rain on the day of race and that means the race in Brazil can change the points situation very dramatically. When the Englishman was asked about the matter he told the media and said that weather can greatly impact
the situation of the race, as it has also happened in South Korea.
Currently the McLaren drivers and the Red Bull racing team drivers are hoping to give their best and clinch as much points as they can in the last two remaining races. Button’ teammate Lewis Hamilton is twenty one points adrift of Alonso.
The Brazilian Grand Prix race on the seventh of the November will be crucial and challenging for all the top five title contenders. Who is going to settle the brawl in the glorious way, only the time will tell.
