Button performed convincingly well in this season and managed to secure fifth place finish in the drivers’ championship. Moreover, he stayed ahead of his main rival, Mark Webber of Red Bull Racing and behind his teammate, Lewis Hamilton.
It is to be noted that Hamilton is going to leave the Woking based team at the end of this year and has signed a new contract with Mercedes where he will replace the seven-time world champion, Michael Schumacher and will drive alongside Nico Rosberg in the
next season.

in McLaren in the next season.
Thus, he has said that he is ready to give his valuable input so as to develop their next year’s car to secure competitive position in the constructors’ championship.
"I really enjoy being the lead driver and being the guy who can really help the team improve the car and sort of mould the car around me," he was quoted as saying in the report.
The British driver has faced some technical and tyre management issues in quite a few races due to which he lost some crucial points in the championship fight. Nevertheless, he performed tremendously well in the last few grands prix and attained promising
results for his team.
In addition, the team principal, Martin Whitmarsh has said that they are trying their best to make the essential advancement in their car and are aiming to come up stronger in the next season. Besides, he said that they will surely prepare Perez for the
