Jenson Button says Lewis Hamilton an ‘exceptional talent’ and on right track – Formula 1 news
McLaren’s duo is busy praising each other’s performance as currently Jenson Button has hailed his British teammate, Lewis Hamilton, by saying that Hamilton is progressing well in Formula 1 and in his personal life.
Button said that Hamilton should remain in F1 because of his exceptional talent and agility.
The 2008 Formula 1 champion, Lewis Hamilton recently got acquainted with a new management, Simon Fuller's XIX, after having a one long year without any management.
Hamilton’s father, Anthony Hamilton, is now a manager of Force India’s driver Paul Di Resta. Button stated that Hamilton is under good heads and will progress more in the F1 arena.
“He's an exceptional talent, but he obviously needs someone looking after his business side. I hope it all goes well with Lewis. He obviously took his time to find his management.”
Button further hoped that now, Hamilton will have his head clear to concentrate on winning some titles.
Jenson Button is also covered by a management which constitutes his family and friends. Button’s management includes Manager, Goddard, his father John, girlfriend Jessica Michibata and trainer Mikey Collier. Button expressed his feelings about his management
that he is happy with them and working well under so many heads.
The McLaren-Mercedes team, altogether had a good Australian Grand Prix as Hamilton finished second behind the Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel and Button finished sixth, despite having a drive thru penalty.
Button commented about the race and said, “All the team were very happy with our performance in Australia. It was good to see we had some pace, and Lewis did a very good job of coming home second.”
The Brit added that still Red Bull’s pace was an issue and the first task of the engineers will be to cut down the race gap from them. He also added that Red Bull are still to show their original pace because KERS is being installed in their cars for the
Malaysian Grand Prix which will give them a healthy boost.
The Malaysian Grand Prix is around the corner as the Free Practice session will start on Friday.
