Jered Weaver seems ready for probable start in season opener – MLB News
The Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Jered Weaver is speaking confidently regarding his potential start in the next Major League Baseball season.
Weaver said, “I feel like I'm where I need to be going into the season. Obviously, some things didn't go my way that last inning, but everything feels great and ready to go. I’m excited to get this thing going. We thought we were pretty good last year and
then we added a guy like C.J. It’s going to be fun.”
Weaver has been playing in the Angels roster since 2006 and has achieved 3.31 ERA along with 82-47 win loss record, 977 strikeouts and 1.16 WHIP.
These numbers show that how great and consistent his game is. Over the past five years, he has developed himself a hardworking individual who always play hard and make sure his team is getting benefit from his game.
The Angels’ first game is against the Kansas City Royals on coming Friday and the team is already looking in great shape having the services of Albert Pujols, C.J. Wilson as well as Jered Weaver.
This time around the Angels also feel that they have strong batting line-up as well as balanced rotation. With a strong team, the Angels’ have a fare chance to play like champions.
