Jerome Boateng interested in joining Bayern Munich – Bundesliga transfer update
Manchester City defender, Jerome Boateng, has expressed desire to play for the Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, from next season onwards. The defender clearly stated his disappointment over his one-year stay at the City of Manchester and wanted a move out
of England this summer.
The centre-back arrived in English Premier League only last year but was forced to sit out in most of the games due to injuries. Boateng mentioned that the Citizens have a decent enough line-up and already have the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Bridge-c36733,

requested a move out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
The 22-year-old enthused that Bayern Munich are undoubtedly the best club in Germany and it was his long lasting wish to play for the Bavarians some day. Boateng added that it would be an honour to play alongside the likes of French inspiration, Franck Ribery,
and the Dutch legend, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521.
The player has been reported to be in talks with the Munich officials and it is believed that Boateng has agreed on a four-year contract with the club. Manchester City officials, though, have denied such claims and at the same time confirmed the youngster’s
desire of moving away from England.

The defender started his senior career with the second string http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hertha-BSC-c39521 in 2006 and made 25 League appearances in a year’s time before graduating into the club’s senior line-up in 2007. During the same year, the defender made his way to Hamburger and during
his three-year stay, made 75 Bundesliga appearances. In 2010, the defender shook hands with Manchester City and managed only 16 Premier League games due to injury. Boateng also has 13 international appearances for the German national side to date.
The player has already confirmed his desire to stay with the Bavarians for a long time but the player’s price tag seems to be a problem; the Bavarians are willing to offer 12.5 million Euros for the star, while City are not willing to sell below 20 million
Euros.
