The Bayern Munich defender assures that the Reds will bounce back from the embarrassing defeat in their next game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881.
Jerome Boateng believes that there is no need to ring the alarm bells despite losing to Gladbach last Friday. Bayern slipped badly against a formidable Foals unit who struck thrice during the course of 90 minutes before letting
in a consolation in the closing stages of the encounter.
Borussia-Dortmund bound striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrick-Herrmann-c29275 took advantage of some poor defending right at the stroke of half time. As Bayern seemed to have regained
control in the second half, another error at the back allowed Herrmann to push the Reds down even further by scoring his second and the team’s third.
The Bavarian giants looked a side in complete contrast to the team that has performed brilliantly this season. Bayern’s defence was sloppy right from the start and Jerome Boateng appeared to be a misfit at the right-back position
where he failed to assist http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521.
However, the 23-year-old has confirmed that the Bavarian giants will bounce back with a win over the less-fancied outfit, Wolfsburg, in their next game on Saturday, January 28, at the Allianz-Arena. He advised the fans to stay
patient as the team will definitely find momentum especially with the UEFA Champions League knock-out stages round the corner.
While talking to Yahoo Sports, the centre-back further insisted:
"There is no need to hit the alarm. There is still enough quality in our defence."
On the other hand, young defender, Holger Badstuber, also agreed with Boateng’s remarks, assuring of a winning comeback in the upcoming league game. He admitted that Bayern lacked venom and communication against the Foals which
led to his team’s surprising defeat on Friday.
"We left too much space (against Gladbach). We need to communicate better, so we can turn off the carelessness," Badstuber concluded.
Despite Friday’s loss, Bayern have stayed at the top of the league standings due to a superior goal difference. However, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke and Borussia Monchengladbach are keeping a close check on the Reds progress.
