After joining the Allianz-Arena outfit from Manchester City during summer, Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng has urged teammates to extend their unbeaten run by beating Hannover on Sunday.
The Reds haven’t lost a single game in all competitions since last losing to Borussia Monchengladbach early in August.
The defender has had a successful run so far with the German giants after ending a frustrating journey with the Citizens earlier during summer. Boateng has been an integral part of Jupp Heynckes’ line-up and has already justified his worth in a short span
of time.
Boateng congratulated his teammates on such professional displays thus far and has urged them to maintain the same consistency levels in the future. He also pointed at the importance of the upcoming league game against Hannover, scheduled to be played on
Sunday. The centre back reckoned that Bayern’s dominance could suffer if the Reds fail to register all three points against Die Roten.
Both the clubs are due to lock heads on Sunday, October 23, at AWD-Arena. Heynckes’ men are currently sitting atop the league table with 22 points from nine games while Hannover are seventh with as many points adrift. Currently, the Bundesliga giants are
five points clear of second placed Borussia Monchengladbach.

While talking to reporters ahead of Sunday’s game, the 23-year-old also enthused, "It's not like I'm going to turn any opportunity to play down. I like it out on the right too, and I'm happy to do it for the team. It's just important we pick up another win."
The Bavarians are currently in outstanding form and are atop the league table and the Champions League Group A. They are unbeaten for the last 13 games and a win on Sunday will definitely stretch both their unbeaten run and lead at the top.
