Jerry 'The King' Lawler wins 'Kiss My Foot Match' at 'Over the Limit': WWE News
Jerry 'The King' Lawler won 'Kiss my Foot Match' against Michael Cole at WWE’s Pay-Per-View segment 'Over the Limit' that took place tonight at Key Arena in Washington.
The match was decided between Cole and Lawler on May 2, when Cole insulted Lawler’s passed mother. Lawler challenged Cole a match at 'Over the Limit'. The King also stated that if Cole defeated him, he would personally move his Hall of Fame induction
to Cole. The trainer of Cole, Jack Swagger accepted that challenge on behalf of his trainee. Cole designed a contract for the match and changed the rules of the match after naming it the 'Kiss My Foot Match'.
The fight took place after the World Championship match of Randy Orton and Christian. Jerry Lawler came into the ring with a huge support by WWE Universe. Cole appeared on the ramp in a suit dressing. Cole made a prepared statement that he would not
compete in the match because he was medically unfit. Cole handed the referee his doctor’s written application, but the referee ripped it up and called for ringing the bell for the match.
Lawler started to beat Cole with punches and kicks all around the ring. Lawler threw him into the upper rope on the floor with a dropkick. Cole tried to hit Lawler with his naked foot, but Lawler blocked it and nailed Lawler with punches. He brought
Cole into the ring, hit his finishing move 'Big Fist' and pinned for three counts.
After the victory, Eve Torres and Jim Ross came out. Eve climbed up the top rope and hit the 'Moonsault' on Cole. Jim poured the bottle of BBQ sauce on the face of Cole. Lawler took off his boot and ordered Cole to kiss his foot. But Cole escaped and
denied by saying that he was not the loser. While Cole was on the ramp, Bret Hart’s music hit. Bret tossed back Cole into the ring and locked him into his finishing move 'Sharpshooter'. Cole yelled and kissed Lawler’s foot. Lawler’s music hit in the end and
WWE Universe applauded him on his first victory over Cole.
