Kuwait marked its first win of the ongoing ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament, in a cut-throat match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jersey-c41001, which saw the former winning with just one wicket. The bout was staged at the Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur.
Putting Jersey in to bat first in the shortened, 34-over match, the toss winners http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Edward-John-Farley-c55411.
Unfortunately for the batting side, the team commenced its innings with an early loss after Khalid managed to successfully mark Farley’s stumps, sending him off to pavilion on a single run.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Benjamin-David-Stevens-c47652 was the next batter in, but failed to retain a partnership with Morrison after being dismissed just a few more overs into the game.

With three wickets already lost, the newly formed pair of Corey Bisson and skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Peter-William-Gough-c81957 took on the task to stabilise the team’s innings.
The duo managed to stall the session for a good 13 overs, bagging a 74-run partnership, following which Bisson’s dismissal at the top score of 54 runs brought an end to the duo; by then Jersey stood at a total of 120 for 4 in 28.6 overs.
With the match nearing the close of Jersey's innings, more trouble came for the batting side which lost four more quick wickets, including skipper Gough’s, who walked off after an impressive 52, which aided the eventual lower order to wrap up the team’s
innings at 156 for 8 in 34 overs.
As for Kuwait’s response, the team’s openers, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Irfan-Ahsan-Kaleem-Bhatti-c64451 and Amir Javed, kicked off to an impressive start, which came with an opening partnership of 55 runs.

a single wicket win for Kuwait.
