Jesper Parnevik is a name I don"t see on the PGA tour anymore. Anybody know anything of him? Is he retired? ?

He has not retired he has just been playing average so he has not been getting much TV coverage.

Well he has made 12 cuts out of 20 Starts in 2008....I don't think that counts as retired.

He was playing a tournament I worked earlier this year.  Just not making the cut anymore.  Could also be spending time on the European tour.

He's fine. After the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee, he took a break but returned to competition this week at the SAS Masters in his homeland. After 36 holes, Parnevik is T12. A link to the live scoring is below.

ADDED - 8/16, 7:03pm CT ... After a third round 71, Parnevik has slipped to T26.

ADDED - 8/17, 2:34pm CT ... Parnevik carded a final round 74 and faded to a T46 finish.

ADDED - 8/17, 9:51pm CT ... Parnevik finished 139th in FedExCup points, qualifying him for The Barclays this week.
