he's probably saying he would go out with her if they were more in the same age group...like a teenager might be like 'oh i'd so go out with jonny depp' but of course they wouldn't because he could be their father! but 7 years isn't that different its just because she's still a teenager and he's of age...like it doesn't matter if a 45 year old is married to a 52 year old, that is seen as pretty normal.

but yeah if he means it as you say then that is pretty weird...at that age i find three years apart stretching the boundaries a bit!

Actually Miley is 16 years old. He just turned 21. That's not that bad. there have definitely been bigger age differences. And for all you know he was joking and if he wasn't it's not that big of a surprise Miley is a very cute girl. And Jessie is pretty darn s**y.

I don't know what's with the controversy of age differences. I mean, really, if she was 20 and he was 27, it would seem fine. But in that sense where he's mature, and she's MOST DEFFINETELY not, then yes, it's wierd.

I read it on an interview. Jesse wants to date miley, and vice-versa (since she's been having a crush on him since "forever"), but her dad won't let them, because he's known to have these 'flings' with younger girls (and i suppose that 'leavin'' video didnt help much either...).jesse even offered to have a chaperone of billy ray's choice, but he thinks that his daughter's too young for him.
