Jesse Ryder out of Zimbabwe Test due to calf strain - Cricket News Update

The New Zealand team manager, Mike Sandle, confirmed Ryder’s injury and told the media reporters that the all-rounder will now return home to undergo further assessment and rehabilitation.
"Initially we were hopeful the injury wasn't too serious but unfortunately the scan showed damage to Jesse's calf and he will miss the Test match.,” said Sandle while talking to the media reporters in Bulawayo. "He will return to New Zealand to undergo further
assessment and a period of rehabilitation,” the Kiwis team manager added further.
