Jessica Ennis to grace British Airways video for London Olympics 2012
It has been recently revealed that the star British Olympic athlete Jessica Ennis will be appearing in the in-flight video of the British Airways, which is the official airline of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The British Airways sponsorship manager, Luisa Fernandez, has made the following statements regarding the matter, “We’re proud to be using some of our Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls in this wellbeing video. With their sporting backgrounds they are perfectly
placed to share their exercise techniques to enhance the in-flight experience. As official airline of Team GB and Paralympics GB, we will be flying athletes to and from training camps in the coming months, so they will benefit from the wellbeing video too.”
Ennis is has been able to make her mark in the world of sports by grabbing herself the silver medal at the 2011 World Athletics Championships. Ennis has been able to make herself known by becoming a heptathlete. It has been speculated by many groups that
a sure shot at the gold medal for the Team GB in the London Olympic Games is Ennis.
Ennis is not the only British athlete who will be featuring in the well being video of the British Airways, rather Louis Smith, the gymnast as well as Shelly Woods, the Paralympian will both be seen in the clip that the British Airways is going to put up
in their flights in the months leading up to the Olympic Games.
The video shows the star heptathlete making her way across hurdles put in her way while Smith is seen to be performing a routine while on a pommell horse. The Paralympic athlete Shelly Woods is seen to be making her way on a wheel chair while on the athletics
track.
Despite the fact that the well being video will be broadcast till the time of the Olympic Games that are scheduled to start from the July 27th and last till August 12th, it is not yet certain whether the video is going to be played even after the Olympic
games are over.
It is the third time that the Olympics are being hosted by London.
