  1. No, there is not one shred of credible evidence he ever existed.

  2. Only in your imagination.

  3. Yes. But regarding his deity, etc, is up to you to find out on your own.

  4. Technically yes, but the question is, "was he all magic?" like everyone says

I just think he was a big celebrity and everyone over-exagerrated it.

  5. Sure he did! and he's coming back in 2012.

  6. As a historical figure, yes.

However, the part about him rising from the dead is mythology.

  7. yes, He did and yes He still does. secular historians have written about Jesus. people may not believe that He is the son of God but Jesus did in fact walk this earth.

look up, Josephus and Tacticus (secular historians)..they wrote about Jesus. so did Pilate.

  8. Read Case for Christ by Lee Strobel if you really want an answer (you can get it in DVD format also)

  9. Yes the Romans were pretty meticulous about record keeping(gotta collect those taxes baby), A man named Jesus Christ lived, whether he was the son of God is the debate.

  10. No.

    Thank God.

Oh. He does not exist either.

    No. Thankfully.

The Christ myth is a shallow plagiarism on a number of 0CE cults, including Mythraism. Every important aspect of the Christ story is stolen from earlier stories, including the virgin birth, childhood, much of the teaching, miracles and martyrdom.

  11. Hello,

Most likely he did according to most historians. There are some though that said he probably did not but they are the minority for the time being. There were many self professed prophets in the Holy land at that time so his presence would not have been that unique.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly

  12. Yeah there are records that he existed, whether or not you believe that he was God's son or just some guy.

  13. yes he exists now tommarow and forever.

  14. Every single event in History, right from the creation of the Earth  is recorded in a book called The Bible. To know if Jesus was divine or Godly , you have to first buy a Bible and open and read The New Testament

The Bible contains the truth and it is a part of History. How can you deny History.

How can you say that Jesus did not exist.

We are in the year 2008 A D (Anno Domini- meaning in the year of our Lord) . Every single year is based on Jesus life on Earth. If you want to deny that Jesus ever existed, then you have to deny that you are in 2008 AD and all people living in previous years were fictional and not real.

Here are a few History lessons below, if you believe you are in 2008 AD. If you do not want to believe that you are in 2008 AD then there is no use reading any further. Your information and knowledge of History is far superior to anyone else and maybe you should write your own version of how History was and show it to the whole world and make them believe your version.

In the Gregorian Calendar, which we use, there is no year zero and the sequence of years near the start runs as follows: ..., 4BC, 3BC, 2BC, 1BC, 1AD, 2AD, 3AD, 4AD ...

    Years Before Christ (B.C)

    Event in World History

2100 B.C.Abraham was called by God (approximately 2100 years before the birth of Christ)

    1525 B.C.Moses was born

1445 B.C.Ten Commandments given to Moses

    1090 B.C.Sampson is a judge for Israel

1005 B.C.David becomes king of Israel

870 B.C Elijah the prophet begins ministry

    740 B.C.Isaiah begins his ministry

586 B.C. Temple in Jerusalem destroyed by Babylonians

    535 B.C Daniel's last vision

460 B.C. Ezra returns from exile

356 B.C. Alexander the Great was born

    200 B.C. Rome defeats Hannibal

37 B.C. Herod is king of Judea

    ~1B.C.** Jesus is born

    A.D.

According to Webster's Dictionary, the abbreviation A.D. is from the Latin word "anno Domini", meaning "in the year of our Lord." This refers to our current calendar, counting down from the date of Jesus' birth, for example:

In the Year of our Lord (anno Domini - A.D.)

    Event in World History

30~ A.D. John the baptizer begins his ministry

30~ A.D. Jesus begins His ministry (at the approximate age of 30)

33~ A.D. Jesus is crucified on cross & raised from dead (at the approximate age of 33)

33~ A.D. Jesus' church begin in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost and the Lord begins adding people to His church (see Acts 2:37 through the end of the chapter)

70 A.D. Jerusalem and the temple destroyed by the Roman emperor Titus

410 A.D. Fall of Rome to the Visigoths

1451 A.D. Christopher Columbus was born

    1776 A.D. U.S. declaration of Independence Adopted

    1914 A.D. World War I

2000 A.D. The world celebrates the start of a new millennium, approximately 2000 years after the birth of Jesus.

  15. There was such a man called Jesus who was crucified by the Romans. There is also sorts of evidence that indicates that a Jesus lived and existed, but there's just as much evidence that shows that a man named Muhammad existed as well. So it's not like the evidence that shows Jesus lived is any proof whatsoever that he is God.

Whether you believe Jesus is God or not, that's your own faith. But there was such a person who went against the established order of the Rabiahs and the corruption of taxation in the Jewish Temples. He was crucified by the Romans, out of political reasons from Puntchus Pilate, since he claimed to be the Messiah (Son of God) and that didn't sit well with the Rabiahs because he was taking away their tax revenue. He is often thought of as being a carpenter, but more recent historical and archelogical evidence indicates that he was more likley a stone cutter, because Nazareth still has a high volume of stone that would have been used to create buildings.

Basically, the Biblical portrayal of his life can be backed up by historical evidence that he lived and died. Of course that doesn't neccesarily mean his is God, that's up to what you believe in as far a religion goes.

Jesus of Nazarreth obviously has had a tramendous impact on the world, but that in itself does not make him God. The same goes for Alexander the Great because changed the course of history, Ghengis Khan did as well, the Han Dynasty transformed the way China would have dealings for hunderds of years, Napoleon changed the course of Eurpean history, so did the Crusades, and Hitler, Stalin, both of the World Wars, the American and French Revolutions, Julius Ceaser, Buddah and Muhammud, and Confucius, there are a good number of people whose lives have impacted the world. Just because these people lived and changed the world does not mean they are God.

There is no arguging the fact that a man named Jesus of Nazareth lived. Anyone who finds that to be untrue is going off of invalid historical information. Now there is no evidence that makes him God, that's what religion is for. But from un-biased historical perspective, to say that Jesus did not exist is as foolish as saying the Roman Empire did not exist. Because eventhough the Roman Empire did not intially consider this man of any great importance, Rome would abaondon it's former dieties (Jupiter, Apollo, etc.) and a period of social anarchy broke out because of the life of Jesus. The Roman Emperors themselves would eventually take up a Christian faith. Catholics were initially a Roman Cult, but they believed would evolve into one of the largest religions on the planet. Does that make Jesus God? Not through itself. But you will believe what you are lead to believe, just like anyone else who takes up a postion based on hear-say. And if you want to keep doubting the fact that a guy name Jesus did not exist, then please explain the Crusades, and everything else that would go down in Eurpean history because a man named Jesus decided to start speaking his mind.

  16. Most likely, however his actions have been ridiculously exaggerated.

  17. Read "Evidence That Demands A Verdict" by Josh McDowell.  A compilation of all the historic and archeological evidence you will ever need, outside the Bible.  When you are done with that book, read "More Than A Carpenter" by the same dude.  Most libraries should have it, as well as Amazon and Christian book stores.

    HE LIVES!

  18. As a man? Sure.

As the son of God?  No.

  19. Hard to say for sure since it's such a weak case.  No one who actually met him wrote it down and had it survive, so at the very least you have to conclude that he wasn't all that impressive.

But if I wanted to make up some of that c**p, I'd start with a real Rabbi who had a bit of a following.  It would lend credibility to the story.  So on the whole I'd give it a probably.

  20. Yes. He is the most recorded person from ancient time, even outside of the Bible

He has always been here. Read John 1:1 on

  21. http://www.y‐jesus.com/

    You'll change your mind!

  22. There have been BILLIONS and BILLIONS and possibly TRILLIONS of people that have walked this earth. He(1 person compared to the other trillions) literally split time in half. Sure there have been different calenders and whatnot but HE, no matter how improbable His existence, there is no denying  the fact that b.c. does stand for before Christ. He also carried on the way of life that we call Christianity. He didn't leave a shadow of a doubt to the people that lived at His time that He was the Son of God.

Yes He did, does and will always exist.

  23. of course he did

you should go to church to find out if you don't know already

if he wouldn't have existed he wouldn't have never died in the cross

and we would have never existed

  24. Jesus does exist and is God the Son who became flesh, Lord Jesus the Christ.

  25. He for sure was a real person, and the only thing is was he the messiah or just a bum.

  26. Yes!

    http://www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/projects...

  27. There is no contemporaneous evidence to support his existence.  When he was allegedly performing his miracles, nobody thought to write it down, or tell someone to write it down at the time.

The earliest documentation that reference Jesus Christ date back to about 4 decades after his alleged resurrection.  This includes the books of the new testament.

  28. If you really want to know for yourself, try living by His commandments for a while and see if you notice a change. Read the Bible at least ten minutes a day and after a while you will know.

I can testify to you that He did and still does exist, and that He is the Son of God, but it's more important that you discover this for yourself.

  29. Ye he did exist, and he is a life in a much higher level of Intelligence world, doing well Marry with wife and child's, I will stop now because its up to you to believed that, if you which too. Thank-you.

  30. Secularly speaking, there are records that he existed from contemporary historians who didn't exactly like him.

Religiously, yes, he is the Son of the living God.

There are records outside the Bible of some of his miracles, and also of his crucifixion. Even Muslims regard him as a great prophet!

  31. There is no proof if he exits or not. Maybe he is only exit in bible book.. but where is the real evidence that he is real or make-up guy. Hard to tell thou.
