  1. Even if Jesus isn't your favorite deity/literary character, you gotta admit he carries more common sense than Crowley...

Jesus at least died for what He believed in...

Crowley degenerated into a fat slob who sold magic trick lessons for a few pennies to whoever would listen to him...

"Do what thou wilt" as the whole of a law leaves the interpretation rope a little slack, don't you think?...

But Crowley was a good mountain climber...in his younger days...

  2. I'm sorry, I was going to answer but then I say more perfect and had to go lay down for a while.

They are equally perfect, or imperfect. They can't be more perfect.

...I won't take that from you or Mr. Jefferson, TYVM!

  3. Crowley without a doubt.

Though I doubt it was an avatar of God he was functioning as.

"I was in the death struggle with self: God and Satan fought for my soul those three long hours. God conquered — now I have only one doubt left — which of the twain was God?" - Crowley

  4. Jesus doesnt need avators.... dk who the other one is..

  5. I've defended Uncle Al on this site many times but he was no avatar. Jesus of Nazareth (who also was a mage) was an avatar, Buddha Shakyamuni was an avatar. Ramakrishna Paramhamsa was a recognized historical avatar. Uncle Al was a brilliant mind and an occultist and mystic who challenged Victorian era paradigms and was perhaps unduly villainized for it such that the specter has taken on mythologic proportion.  All that can be said is that he is  an avatar for Thelemites who buy into the hagiography.

  6. Why would you think someone who dabbled in the occult and mysticism would be a good candidate for perfect anything to do with God?

  7. I kinde like both of them as magickians. I don't know if i believe either was a god or mabey they are both gods.
