Jesus said I am the way, does it mean he is the only way?

Only through Christ can Salvation be gained.

yes it does. Can you imagine everyone making up their own way to Heaven?? How is that going to logically work? One person is right and everyone else is wrong or everyone is wrong. That is why God is the ONLY way.

Some people already think they're in Christ, but they haven't done any of the things He laid out to do. They believe in putting your hand on the radio; praying the sinner's prayer, which doesn't exist; participating in an altar call and saying Jesus' name over and over again real fast until you "get it", and other things like this. None of them have heard the word of God, Romans 10:17; believed what they've heard, Romans 10:9-10, Hebrews 11:6; they haven't repented of their sins, Luke 13:3; they haven't confessed that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, Matthew 10:32; nor have they been baptized for the remission of sins, Acts 2:38, 8:37-38. If they had done all of that, then they would have to be faithful unto death, Acts 2:42, Revelation 2:10. This is the way to Christ, the only way. No other way will get you to heaven.

Some people take it that way.  Every religion claims to be the only way to heaven.  Personally, I can't disagree with any of them.  I think they're all right. Buddhism is right for Buddhists. Hinduism is right for Hindus and Christianity is the right way for Christians.  There's plenty of room in heaven for people of all faiths and religions, yes even the non-religious will be welcomed there too. That's the love God has for us.
