The story where he goes into the temple and overturns all those tables of the gamblers and yells at them. That's a sin, right? Or is it ok to overturn other people's stuff and ruin their fun just because you don't like what they are doing?

  1. If you look closely enough, everyone is a sinner.  I think Christ was probably as close to a perfect human as anyone else though

  2. Not right! He had no sin. Yeah, it's OK that He done that. He is our Judge. And He can slam that gavel whenever He chooses.

  3. Jesus only reacted to those who was sinning referencing through bible verses they were clearly not taking gods word seriously

this is why jesus was rightfully angry

  4. No, the gamblers were sinning.  Jesus put a stop to it.

  5. Owned.

  6. Well, look at it this way. Let's say you have a children, and you just come home from work, and you find them breaking the dishes in the kitchen. Won't you get mad and spank them for doing wrong? Will you not discipline your child so he learns to behave? Will you be sinning because you are disciplining your child?

    No.

EDIT: Well, how do people discipline their kids nowadays?

    Hebrews 12:6-10

It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.

  7. Jesus was sinless...

  8. Jesus did it because that's the only way the people of the temple would understand. All they understood was anger. Its not a sin to be angry, but don't produce bad fruit when you are. Basically He'll play you at your own game.

  9. No. Thats a catholic teaching. Jesus could not have ever sinned- if He has- then we have no salvation-ever!.

Being angry is not a sin. Cleaning out the temple (church) in not a sin either -even if you have to put a whip on some behinds.

  10. Wrong.  Jesus was NOT a sinner.  He was angry for God, not for any personal rights that may have been violated.  When WE get angry, it's because someone crossed us or hurt us, etc.  Jesus NEVER got angry for personal reasons.  When He was attacked, He did not attack back; when He was threatened, He did not threaten back; when He was crucified, He prayed, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."

  11. Wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You forgot a little issue.

    It was his house!

If I go to your house and I profaned it. What would you do?

    Kick me out right?

Yes that is what I thought so.

  12. I smell a sin.

  13. thats called righteous anger god got angry at the people of israel in the wilderness too

  14. You come in my house and you will get the same treatment. I bet being around you is like being around  a big douche

  15. No, Jesus is God..It`s His temple and His right to toss money grubbers out on their ear.

  16. If you are God, then you define what is right and what is wrong - so if Jesus didn't like what they were doing, be definition they were sinning.  God hates sin and won't look upon it.  Can't have it in heaven, or in His house.

So, No.  Jesus did not sin.

  17. As you describe it you would be right. However, some do not consider the act of disobeying religious, civil, or military law to be religiously sinful in some circumstances. There are thousands of years of precedents in Judaism and Christianity where individuals have conscientiously objected to what they considered to be improper laws by intentionally disobeying them. They have felt called to respond to a higher law.

  18. God can pretty much do anything He wants. Jesus said, "I and My Father are One."  And no, Jesus was not a sinner. Believe it or not, God gets angry...
