Jet Blue charging $7 for pillows and blankets? What next? Pay toilets?

How else can these airlines squeeze us?

The $7 gets you a $5 coupon at Bed Bath & Beyond.  To me it is better than US Airways charging for water.  They are starting to charge $2 for water unless it is a medical emergency.  I think the only thing left the airlines can charge is to use the toilets and for the air you breathe.

For that price, why wouldn't you bring your own?

They are offering an "eco-friendly" pillow & blanket PLUS a $5 coupon  to use at Bed Bath & Beyond, so you are not getting ripped off. Plus it's not a must to get the pillow & blanket.

I will still fly Jet Blue!

Well, they could just raise their air fares.  They should do that anyway.

There's not a single airline out there on a sound financial footing.  Soon we will be getting nothing but whining and sniveling about fares finally going up.
