Jet Ski for the Ocean?

Question

I was wondering which is the best Jet Ski for the Ocean. I was told that the sit-down kind could tip (because of the waves) and really get messed up. I was also told that the stand-up kind was better for the ocean because they can just about go underwater without damage.

Does anyone know or have experience with both? AND I have limited space for these toys...and I was wondering if I could just put a pair of stand-up ones in the back of my Expedition.

sit downs r more stable but stand ups r more fun

if u r goin out with your family i reccomend a sit down cuz any1 can go on 1

but if it is just u n a few m8s i wud say a stand up cuz they r really fun jumpin the waves

stand up skis r also a lot smaller so u wud probably b able 2 fit them in the back of your car

well you will get pretty tired of standing up for all that time. it is way easier to get hurt on the stand up ones too. go for the sitdown kind. if it ever tip it only takes like two fingers to flip it back over. htey are designed for easy flip.

The stand up jet skis are made more for jumping waves and doing flips. I have a sit down jet ski that I stand up on all the time when I want to jump a wave plus I can have people out on the jet ski with me. Your not going to flip a sit down jet ski if your under way and maintain controll of it. Also, i have a 2002 explorer with the third row seating, there is no way that I could get my jet ski in it. I would recommend buying a trailer, they sell them for about $350
