Looking for help....Has anyone out there attended Jet University? They claim to have a written guarentee job offer after the completion of all requirements.I'm just starting off with no experience and am looking for a good-if not great- school to attend.Others offer a guarenteed job interview. Any thoughts/stories?

  1. Ok I was a flight attendant for and my husband a first officer for american eagle, he attended riddle in prescott. Here are a few things to consider. . . is the job offer for an airline or as a flight instructor?  Alot of people start off as instructors to build flight time, like my husband. It is getting easier to become an fo with the lowering of minimums eagle requires 350TT/50ME. You may be stuck in the left seat for 7 years on reserve for 2. My husband left a few months ago and is flying for an aircraft managment company and loves it! Get online and talk to some people in the industry. Airline Pilot Central will tell you whos hiring, pay scales, upgrade time, and minimums. Hope that helps a little, Good Luck.

  2. Depends, do you care about quality or do you want the quickest way into a troubled regional?

  3. I would recommend Embry Riddle University or the Universoty of North Dakota. They both have the best commercial flight schools in the country!

  4. Build your experience and competence by flying for a living.  Then hire on with a company that will train and rate you in a jet, if that is your goal.

Talk to some airline pilots before opting for the Jet University route.

  5. Plan on paying at least 1.5 times what you are quoted. That was my experience anyways.....ymmv
