Jet ski - atlantic crossing challenge?

im looking into taking up the challenge of crossing the atlantic from lands end to new york on a jet ski for charity. although i will be followed by a crew who'll be carrying extra fuel, its about 3 and a half thousand miles in total. but ill only manage a non-stop run of about 30-40 hours because of sleep deprevation. i can only stop to re-fuel so it will have to be completed in this time. so is there a jet ski capable of 100mph+ to make this possible?? please help!

  1. Are you crazy?

Have you ever ridden a jet ski?

At one hundred miles per hour you would need a perfectly smooth ocean, and the fuel would last about an hour.

You would never be able to haul enough fuel.

No engine would hande the hours at this speed.

    This could never work.

  2. I am looking forward to seeing the 100 MPH fuel tender that will shadow you.  Who will front the million dollars to build the vessels for the mad dash?  You may want to rethink your plan.  It would be more fun than selling cookies for a fund raiser though.
