Jetse Bol wins final stage of 2011 Royal Smilde Olympia’s Tour  - Cycling News
The stage one winner, Rabobank-CT team's Jetse Bol showed an excellent performance in the sixth and final stage of 2011 Royal Smilde Olympia’s Tour on May 21. He also won the overall leader’s white jersey.
The race started in Reuver and ended at Buchten. The Dutch cyclist, Bol took a total of 5 hours, 13 minutes and 7 seconds to cover a distance of 223.4 kilometres.
After winning the final stage, Bol told the media, ''Two years ago I more or less randomly in a position to win, now I have won as leader.''
in the final kilometre, Rabobank CT team-mates kept the race under control and  the 21-year-old, Bol powered his pace to beat Jack Bauer of the Endura Racing team.
His team-mate Roman Sinkeldam finished in the third spot with the same timing as of Bol.
Ubbink-Koga Cycling team’s Wim Stroetinga who won the second, third and fourth stage was in sixth place with the difference of 46 seconds adrift of Bol.
This is a pretty difficult track for the riders, as it included three sprints and ten mountains.  
A group of five riders made first the break-away, including Jetse Bol (Rabobank CT) Shinri Suzuki (Shimano Racing), Marco Brus (Rucanor-Line), Roy De Waal (ParkHotel Rooding) and Tom Dumoulin (Rabobank CT), but all of them were reeled in the final kilometre.
Shinri Suzuki took the first sprint ahead of Marco Brus and Roy De Waal, but when the race entered the second sprint Jetse Bol attacked the peloton and managed to gain maximum advantage.
In the final sprint of the race, Jetse Bol maintained his speed and again took the final sprint of the race ahead of Tom Dumoulin and Jack Bauer.
Jetse Bol said, "I was so eager that I had by far came from the last corner. Dumoulin My team mate had covered a hole and then I had still in the stage victory. This is a great way to Olympia's Tour win.''
Previously, he won the first stage and point’s classification of Tour of Brittany in 2010. In 2009 he was Youth Leader of Oylmpia’s Tour.
Jetse Bol also won the overall lead with the timing of 19 hours, 8 minutes and 53 seconds. Jack Bauer took the second spot with 18 seconds behind Jetse, while Tom Dumoulin finished third with 22 seconds adrift of Bol.
