I have a necklace that I wear, is it ok to shower with it on, or go in the surf (salt water)? Will it rust, get ruined?

  1. If the necklace is sterling silver, or gold, the surf won't affect it. But keep in mind wearing jewelry in the ocean can attract big fish, with big teeth. Kinda like a fishing lure.

  2. Surfammo said it all.

  3. id take it off, you never know salt water will make it rust

    and it mightsnap or something

  4. I would just take it off. Anything that touches saltwater will eventually become wrecked.

  5. just take it of cuz salt ruins alot of stuff

  6. I agree when they said it attracts sharks, and it also attracts barracudas.

    also, it could rust.

If you have a hemp necklace with shells, that should be fine to wear, as long as it doesn't have any metal.
