  1. i dont think ur really jewish at all... like according to jewishness lol

  2. You are half of your father, 1/4 of your grandfather, 1/8 of your great grandfather, and 1/16 of your Jewish great-great-grandfather by blood.

The term Jewish denotes heritage, culture, religion, and blood.

To the orthodox Jew, no one is Jewish without a direct line including a Jewish mother.

  3. none in the jewish faith the lineage is carried through the mother.  If it was your great great grandmother you would be jewish forever.  The woman carries the bloodline not the male

  4. The math would be 1/16th Jewish as long as that's the only line you have in your family.

  5. According to Jewish law you are not Jewish as Judaism comes from the maternal line.  Judaism is a religion, not a race. You could always convert, but only Orthodox conversions count

  6. 2nd great-grandfather--full

    1st great-grandfather--1/2

    grandmother--1/4

    parent--1/8

    you--1/16

But, the real question is--does it really make that much of a difference to you?? Your love for your grandmother should not change because of this.
