Jewish population in Krakow Poland? Different years ranges?

I was curious to know what the Jewish population was in Krakow in these years or ranges. Any info would be helpful.

1880

1890

1900

1910

Also would be interested to know the history of Jews in Krakow around those times. I believe in the late 1800s was when the highest amount of Jews went there but I need to confirm this. Doing family reserach and this means much to me.

  1. The Austrians didn't officially track this and they ruled Krakow during those years. The only way to extrapolate the information would be from synagogue records. Here's a site that probably has as much information as any: http://www.edwardvictor.com/Cracow.htm

  2. The University of California Irvine site has a web section on Krakow. You can search for records online.  They also have a page with the number of births, marriages and deaths they have recorded from 1798-1892 that may give you an idea of population statistics. It's at
