On Monday, Andhra resumed their first innings from an overnight score of 132 for four. By this time, the game was equally poised and it was imperative for Jharkhand to make a big entrance in order to rattle their opposition.
However, AA Muzumdar and AG Pradeep had other plans as they led their side towards 162 runs by dominating the bowlers right from the get go.

AA Muzumdar, who was batting beautifully, was then joined by D Shivkumar as the two batsmen hammered their side towards 278, leaving the bowlers in distress.
However, the bowling side made a comeback when Nadeem had Shivkumar edged to Gautam after scoring 57 runs.
The next partnership was equally devastating as RV Pawar alongside Muzumdar, steered the team to 364. This partnership met its demise on the wicket of Pawar, who fell after jabbing a fiery knock of 41 runs.
Muzumdar was then the final wicket to fall after crafting an outstanding innings of 180 runs, helping his side pile 410 on the scorecard.
From Jharkhand, SS Rao was the most successful bowler with a four-wicket haul.
