Korea’s talented player Ji Wook Kang and Seung Chan Shin found a perfect start in Mixed Doubles first round when they outplayed the local shuttlers Tarun Kona and Ashwini Ponnappa at Syed Modi International India GPG 2012 on Wednesday, December 19, in India.
The impressive Ji Wook and Seung Chan, who entered into the tournament as un-seeded players, displayed their staggering performance and managed to overpower their Indian rivals in less than half-an-hour.

After the interval, Korean shuttlers did not let Tarun and Ashwini to take control of rallies. They remained quick in the arena and managed to play impressive badminton in the ending points that helped them to claim the set with a reasonable margin of 21-18.
The impressive Ji Wook and Seung Chan proved their supremacy in the arena and won the opening round clash in straight sets with a decent 21-16 and 21-18 margin on the score board.
