do you think Zheng has a chance to win Wimbledon..now that she has reached sooo far...........................

She must be really thankful that she received the wild card. She has done very impressive at Wimbledon this year. She beat a lot of top players; including the World No. 1 Ana Ivanovic, so I don't see why not. She definitely has a chance to win Wimbledon. She would the first wild card ever to do so however.

Zheng's Cinderella run appears to be over. Not taking anything away from her or her play, but in the quarters, as most times, Vaidisova beat herself, and Jie should have went down. V's double faults and unforced errors in the 3rd set pretty much gave Zheng the win. At same time though, give her credit for keeping the ball in play and handling nerves. Against Serena in the semis however, she will need more then to keep ball in play. Serena in her quarter was so focused and had just 6 errors, on top of 25 winners, and served over 70%. Being her experience and past championships, she would have to play quite badly for Zheng to continue her magical run. Kudos to Jie though for being first wild card to reach a semi, and the first Chinese woman to appear in a slam semi as well. Serena should win 3 and 3.

First female wildcard ever in the semis.  It will be tough against Serena Williams, a two-timeWimbledon champion.  I hope she does well.  She's donating all her prize money to Earthquake relief.  For an unranked player to do so is pretty incredible in it's own right.

hey,this wimbledon has been anything but predictable. so many shock top seeded losses,you never know. and with the williams sisters too,they have been prone to unpredictable play the last years. and even though everybody is lamenting them so much this fortnight they still have not looked that stellar to me. still a bit of spotty play and a bit of vulnerability. i think if zheng keeps that ball in and deep to where serena is often on her backfoot  and she can get a nice look on the return of serve,she could definitely throw her off her game. and i really,really hope elena beats venus...i would just love to see her in a major final again....more so a champ.

You did get the name correct.  I am so happy for her but I think Serena is playing just too good now for her to even get a set.  It seem a bit too easy for Serena at this stage.

yes she stands a chance...if she manage to beat the world no1 seet anna ivanovic then why not...hoping her next opponet is not the williams sister's esp Venus
