I think Jim Hughson is awesome when I watch hockey i love hearing him. I also have met him a few times because i see him around were I live.. anyways WHO LIKES HIM WHO DOESNT?

He's a great Play-by-Play caller.  Good voice, knowledgable about the game, loves the game, and excellent inflection on important calls!

I agree, he is one of the top two play by play announcers in hockey.  Hughson and Chris Cuthbert are neck-and-neck for the best.  Hughson has a tremendous voice, and he knows the game so well, he knows when to dial it up and when to dial it down.  And on the CBC telecasts he also has the benefit of working with a great analyst in Craig Simpson.

Way to go Jim Hughson, keep up the great work!!

Living in America, I don't get to hear much of Jim Hughson but I do love his commentary on the EA Sports NHL games
