  1. I think Murali is better though he unable to get 19 wickets in a match as Jim Laker.

Jim laker's short period of play is good but Murali's long period of play is better than that.

However i think jim laker is the best slow bolwer for England.

Murali is the rarest of the rare bowler. Such a bowler is not seen on a cricket field till now. May be Ajantha Mendis is another like Murali !

  4. I was born yesterday so Jim Laker, Richie Branod, Sutcliff, Prassana, Nadkarni, Subhas Gupte, Jasu Patel all are new names to me. But I'm sure they were all greater than Murli who throws his eyes at the batsmen and that is worst than beamers and yourkers.

  5. Jim laker was good spinner but -those days batsman were purely accustomed to fast or pace bowling - but Murli is a magician with the ball - comparision  cannot be done

  6. Jim Laker?? Was he a cricketer??? If yes, then the answer is NO......

  7. No way. Murli plays in atime when batsmen rule. And Murli started playing when SL was a side like Ireland or Bermuda are now. But it is no easy feat 19 wickets

So my votes 10/10 for Murli and 8/10 for Jim

  8. never heard of jim laker....

  9. no doubt its spin king Muralitharan

getting 10 wickets an innings make>

no bowler a great cricketer (like Kumble,& Laker ) who took them by Umpires' help;pr
